Evaluating the importance of renewable energy

Climate Change And Alternative Energy Starts With You (and Me)

Due to climate change, the old world is dying fast right before our eyes. No wonder why solar panels and wind turbines are increasingly becoming a common sight as renewable energy is the key to combat the devastating effects of changes in climate.

Why should one focus on energy production?

Almost 40% of carbon dioxide pollution in the US comes from power plants that burn fossil fuels. Such harmful emissions in the US and elsewhere trigger global warming. However, there’s hope as the adverse effects of global warming can be fought by making a shift from traditional fuel to inexhaustible renewable energy. The latter not only minimizes carbon dioxide pollution but even helps one to lower his/her energy bills (via reliable and stable energy prices) while reducing global warming, improving public health, and having a much lower impact on the environment. As a result, it’s getting adapted faster by many across the world.

Where does it all start?

Adoption of alternative energy really does start with the people. People should take responsibility of combating climate change by taking the necessary steps (such as using renewable energy resources, which may include solar, wind, geothermal, biomass, hydroelectric, etc.) to save the planet they live on. Additionally, everyone can incorporate a meditative way of living by just becoming aware of his/her breathing, having soothing and peaceful thoughts, focusing on the positive, and expecting synchronicity. By performing a walking meditation, if possible, one can truly change his/her experience with practicality and energizes his/her body. This procedure of transformation is infectious and literally becomes one’s new normal.
